Adjusting the SQL Field Width
The Field Width property allows the 4GL client to modify the field width of an SQL client. If you do not adjust the setting, the SQL client uses the default width property.
To adjust the field width in character mode, make sure you are connected to a database.

To adjust the SQL Field Width: |
- Choose Schema
Adjust Field Width. A table name appears in the Table Name field, which is followed by a list of additional table names. - Choose the table you want; the name appears in the Table Name field.
- Press ENTER to open the table. The width of the first field in the field name listing is highlighted.
- Select the name of the field whose width you want to adjust, select its width setting, and make the adjustment.
- Choose OK, then press ENTER.
- Choose Apply Changes.
